We are very honored to partner with corporate and non-profit organizations around the world that display a sincere compassion for the welfare of people in need. Your Gift–in–Kind (GIK) donation helps us to bring a brighter hope to poor children and families around the world. In 2006, World Harvest procured, processed, and shipped more than $1.5 million worth of products.

What is Gift-in-Kind?

Gift-in-Kind (GIK) are a company’s excess inventory donated to assist those in need. The benefits to corporate donors are both immediate and long-term such as:

  • Tax deduction. Section 179(e)(3) IRS code.
  • Free up warehouse
  • Positive public relations
  • Philanthropic Involvement
  • Decreases administrative expenses

Commonly needed GIK items include:

  • Computers
  • Medical equipments

  • Clothing, Shoes and Personal Care Items
