What's World Harvest?

World Harvest is an international non-profit organization that was established in 1989. World Harvest is impacting the world through three main pillars: Community, Education, and Media Services. We care for people living in poverty and disaster affected areas, provide health care and improve sanitation, educate children who cannot afford school, and create economic opportunities. We also build, equip and empower leaders to transform communities through formal education. We serve all people in need, regardless of their ethnic background or religion, not only in Indonesia but also in nations all over the world. In a sense we are “Impacting the world through creative community, education, and media services.”

Where Do I Fit In?

You can fit in wherever you feel your heart is leading you!

1. The Student Program

Through a mentoring program, you can find out for yourself what missionary work entails. You can take a part in one of our many summer missions, or visit, some of the work that World Harvest in conducting domestically and abroad.

2. The Staff in Training Program

Should you be interested, or looking to working in the missions sector with a global relief and development institution, then World Harvest could prove to be a stepping stone for you. We can’t guarantee you employment with World Harvest, but we can assure that you’ll get an experience worth.

3. The Internship

Are you considering taking a break from your studies for a period of time? Or do you want to enhance your work experience while still in school? This program lets you do that while exploring different, specific areas within our ministry up close.
