Somalia latest news: Kenyan Forces Enter Somalia to Battle Militants
NAIROBI, Kenya - The Kenyan military stormed into Somalia on Sunday, sending hundreds of troops to battle the Shabab militant group and becoming the latest East African country to be dragged into Somalia's intractable anarchy.
According to Kenyan security officials, several hundred Kenyan soldiers crossed into Somalia in a column of armored trucks and tanks, backed by helicopters, which have begun to bomb and strafe Shabab positions. More Kenyan soldiers are apparently on their way.

World Harvest team has to change the route in preparation and anticipation of the current situation. Our team in Kenya is working round-the clock to prepare the supplies. The team leader Rev. Dr. Daniel Hanafi has left for South Sudan this morning, Monday, October 24th, and will continue his journey to Kenya and then enter Somalia from there. "750,000 people are about to perish in this famine, and we can't just ignore them," said Dr. Hanafi. This is not an easy journey, but we have to do this mission together to help our brothers and sisters in Somalia.
We would like to ask your support in prayer and financial.
